Clare Journal, Mon 23 May 1870:
Charitable Bequests. Notice is hereby given, that James Hehir, deceased, late of Jamaica, in the West Indies, Sergeant Major in Her Majesty’s 3rd West Indian Regiment, after some legacies in his Will mentioned, bequeathed the residue of his estate and effects for the Roman Catholic Churches of Clooney and Quin, in the county of Clare; and Probate of said Will was granted, on 28th March, 1870, by the Court of Probate in England, to Rev. Daniel Corbett, P P; of Well park, Quin, in the county of Clare, one of the Executors in said Will named. Dated this 6th May, 1870. C.B. Molony and Son, Attorneys for Rev. D. Corbett.
